As we start the 2012-2013 academic school year, we say good bye to the Class of 2012 and hello to new beginnings. Some of those beginnings will be a new grant, high school for some, and of those of new participants of Upward Bound at Avila University. We currently have a number of spots open for admission in Upward Bound. Click here for an application which can be printed out and given to those who you feel like would benefit from the many great services provided by Upward Bound.
In addition application, check out our ’12-’13 recruiting video on YouTube by viewing the video below. Pass this video along to others to spread the word of Upward Bound to potential participants and other people who want to know more about Upward Bound.
Below are some things to keep in mind when distributing the information:
- We’re looking for 9th-11th grade students at Hickman Mills Jr. High School, Ruskin High School, and Grandview High School.
- Let the UB staff determine the eligibility. You can help by spreading the word.
- We don’t have deadlines and never will. We will always take applications regardless of the time of school year.
