E'Moni Smith Named As Semifinalist for Dell Scholars Program

Grandview High School senior, E'Moni Smith

It brings with much pleasure to announce that Grandview High School senior, E'Moni Smith, has been named as a semifinalist for the Dell Scholars Program. The Dell Scholars Program awards scholarships for $20,000 to go towards college tuition, fees, and books. To be eligible for the Dell Scholars Program, students must have a 2.4 GPA, show a need for assistance, and show signs of battling through adversity. Students who applied for the scholarship had to write many essays. 

In the last few weeks, E'Moni has worked very hard to get to this stage. Her willingness to seek out assistance, put forth the effort, and ability to stay on task has paid off. She was persistent in getting things done while attending Saturday Sessions and tutoring sessions at Grandview HS. 


We are proud of E'Moni to get to this stage of the scholarship. Announcement of finalist will be made in upcoming weeks.
