Upward Bound - Avila University parents and students,
Recently at activities and Saturday Sessions, students haven't been picked up in a timely matter. Students are being picked up between one and two hours after the conclusion of events. Upward Bound staff is struggling to stay with students for extended periods of time. Below is an excerpt from our 2011-2012 Academic Year Handbook (Punctuality, Pg. 13):
"Students who are not picked up within 30 minutes of the conclusion of an activity will be sent to Campus Safety to wait for their ride."Campus Safety is located on the south side of Avila's campus in the Whitfield Centre.
Rides should be arranged before coming to campus for events. If there is a conflict with transportation, notify the Upward Bound office in a timely matter.
